  3. Rohit June 10, 2011 at 10:50 pm #

Since android is free, I guess updates should be free as well.
However, you will incur data usage charges.

The upgrade and future upgrades are free .. the charge is for the 120MB odd (size of the upgrade) usage that the service provider charges. Google i.e., Android & Handset Manufacturer will not charge anything.

I would suggest you to take your phone to a service station and they should upgrade your handset for free of charge.

I would suggest you to call/mail service center, because there is no official announcement about the update from Motorola India. This info is based on an email from service center guys.

If anybody wants to try out 2.3 Gingerbread(GB), you can go for the aftermarket CM7 ROM. Its blazing fast and battery is clearly a lot better in GB. Its available on xda forums.

Aw, this was a really nice post. An idea I would like to put in writing like this but it takes time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and by no means seem to get something done.
